Our Story
The story of Charkanai Apple Orchard begins in 2021, when our founder started this journey out of his love for nature and being amongst greenery, and with a dream of bringing the finest apples to our neighbours. Today, our flourishing farm is a testament to that vision. For three years now, we have worked tirelessly to cultivate not just apples, but a place where families and friends can create lasting memories.
Our Apples
At Charkanai Apple Orchard, we pride ourselves on our diverse selection of apples. From the crisp, sweet bite of our Honeycrisps, to the sweet and tangy Golden Delicious, the aromatic Gala and the refreshing Ambrosia, every apple in our over 11,000 apple-tree farm is grown with love and care. Our orchard is managed with sustainable practices, ensuring that each fruit you pick is as delicious as it is eco-friendly.
Apple Anatomy
Honeycrisp: The Honeycrisp apple is known for its honey-sweet flavour. Juicier than most apples, you get notes of a pear flavour with this specific variety.
Golden Delicious: For those who prefer a mild, sweet flavour, the Golden Delicious is your go-to variety. With a buttery, honey taste, this apple is perfect for baking into apple pies and crisps mixed with more tart apples like Granny Smiths.
Gala: Mildly sweet and juicy with a vanilla-like fragrance, Gala apples are prized for their sweet, aromatic flavor with subtle hints of honey and pear – offering a crisp, juicy texture and a refreshing taste.
Ambrosia: Ambrosia apples are aromatic with a fruity scent, and a refreshing variety with floral notes.
